Cookie Policy

Last Updated: March 13, 2026

This page explains what cookies and similar technologies TradeTrack uses, why we use them, and what your options are. We've kept this as plain and direct as possible.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They help sites remember things like whether you're logged in across page loads and visits.

What TradeTrack uses

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the platform to function. They cannot be disabled.

NamePurposeDuration
sb-[project]-auth-tokenKeeps you logged in to TradeTrackSession
sb-[project]-auth-token-code-verifierSecures the login processSession

These are set by Supabase, our authentication and database provider. They are HttpOnly, which means JavaScript on the page cannot read them.

Analytics (Vercel Analytics)

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is being used. This tool measures page views, load performance, and general device and country information. It does not use cookies to track individual users and does not collect personally identifiable information.

Vercel Analytics respects your browser's Do Not Track preference.

Local Storage (Not a Cookie)

We store one item in your browser's local storage: whether you've dismissed the development environment notice. This is only used in staging or development and is not part of the production customer experience. It does not transmit data to us.

No advertising or tracking cookies

TradeTrack does not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, social media tracking, or cross-site behavioral profiling. We do not sell data to advertisers.

Your choices

Because we currently use only strictly necessary authentication cookies and a privacy-respecting analytics tool, there is no cookie banner that asks you to accept or reject different categories of cookies on every visit.

If you would prefer to disable analytics entirely, you can:

  • Enable Do Not Track in your browser
  • Use a browser extension that blocks analytics scripts
  • Contact us at support@tradetrack.biz and we'll confirm what is collected

You can delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Deleting session cookies will sign you out of TradeTrack.

TradeTrack uses the following third-party services, each of which may process data in accordance with their own policies:
